How-toAccount settings journey

Manage settings as an account or organization member

Choose the correct settings owner, make one authorized change, and verify the persisted state.

Use this journey to keep personal and organization-owned changes separate. It applies to organization administrators, organization members, investors, applicants, and invited recipients who share the same Infra One account.

Before you begin

Sign in to the intended confirmed account. Know whether the change belongs to the person or to a specific organization. Organization forms require the corresponding role and capability.

Steps

  1. Open https://settings.infra.one.
  2. Under Personal settings, select a page when the value follows the account across organizations. Examples include Profile, Email, Password, Two-factor authentication, Localization, and Appearance.
  3. Open an organization-named group when the value belongs to that organization. Examples include General, Team, Notifications, Investor portal, and Email activity.
  4. If only Request admin access is available, select it, review the organization named in the modal, and select Send request. The request notifies administrators; it does not unlock the forms until an administrator grants the role.
  5. Change the smallest intended value. Use the page's named save action when it has one; Notifications and Appearance save automatically when their controls change.
  6. If the page shows a success message, read it; then reload the page. Appearance confirms the change through the theme and switch label instead of a success flash.
  7. Confirm that the same account or organization context still shows the new state.

Success check

The change persists after reload and is scoped to the intended owner. A personal preference follows the account; an organization setting affects only the organization named in the sidebar and breadcrumb.

Troubleshooting

  • A return to sign-in, confirmation, onboarding, or two-factor authentication means an account-entry gate is still pending.
  • Request admin access means the current membership cannot open organization settings. Sending the request does not grant immediate access; wait for an administrator to change the role.
  • A failed save leaves validation feedback on the current form; correct it rather than repeating the same submission.
  • If a sensitive email, password, or 2FA action fails, use its dedicated recovery flow instead of changing unrelated fields.
  • If a membership invitation is missing, verify that it belongs to this account and has not already been settled.
