Settings

Understand where Infra One keeps personal and organization settings, and which access boundary applies to each section.

Settings is the account and organization control center for Infra One. It runs at settings.infra.one and uses the same signed-in session as the other *.infra.one services.

Opening https://settings.infra.one takes you to Profile. The sidebar then separates settings by ownership instead of mixing them into one form.

Personal settings

The Personal settings group follows your Infra One account across organizations and services. It currently contains:

  • Profile and Public profile;
  • Email, Password, Connected accounts, and Two-factor authentication;
  • Notifications, Localization, Appearance, and Memory;
  • Invitations, which combines pending organization and investment-account membership invitations with your current memberships.

Changing a personal preference does not grant access to an organization or product. Product access still depends on membership, service availability, and the relevant capability.

Organization settings

Each organization membership appears as a separate sidebar group. An organization administrator can open:

  • General;
  • Team;
  • Notifications;
  • Investor portal;
  • Email activity.

These pages require the organization’s manage_orgs capability. A non-admin member does not receive a read-only version of the forms. The organization group shows Request admin access instead.

That action opens a confirmation modal. Selecting Send request notifies the organization's administrators but does not grant access; the member must wait for an administrator to change the role.

Some actions have a narrower boundary. For example, editing service-specific membership grants from Team also requires permission to manage membership grants.

Moving between services and Settings

When another Infra One service sends you to Settings, the sidebar can show Back or Back to service. That link preserves the source destination when the source supplied one. In an organization context, the organization breadcrumb and fallback back link return to the organization on Venture.

Settings does not replace the account-entry checks:

  1. A signed-out visitor is sent to the canonical sign-in page on Venture.
  2. A signed-in but unconfirmed account is sent to email confirmation.
  3. An account without a complete first and last name is sent to the onboarding profile step.
  4. A pending two-factor challenge must be completed before protected settings open.

Use Open Settings and choose a context for the first visit, or Settings permissions and states for the exact route and access matrix.
