Troubleshoot Talent portal

Resolve missing sign-in codes, locked verification, lost job context, upload errors, missing applications, and unavailable jobs.

Talent portal problems are usually tied to the email, selected job, verification-code window, or submission requirements.

The sign-in message did not arrive

Check that the email address is correct, then inspect spam or filtered folders. The We emailed you a 6-digit code message confirms that Talent portal created the code and attempted delivery, not that the email arrived. To replace it, reopen /sign-in, enter the email again, and use only the newest PIN; the replacement invalidates the older code.

Talent portal could not email the code

When Talent portal reports Could not email you a code, it stays on the email form. Confirm the Email value and select Continue again. A successful retry clears the error and opens the code step with We emailed you a 6-digit code.

The code does not work

A code is valid for 10 minutes. After three incorrect attempts, that code is locked. Reopen /sign-in, enter the email again to reset the attempt count with a replacement code, then use the newest six-digit PIN.

Sign-in opened Home instead of the application

A general Talent portal sign-in opens Home. Return to the published job and choose Apply now or Apply so the organization and job context are carried into sign-in.

A document is rejected

Use one PDF, DOC, or DOCX file no larger than 10 MB for the CV and, separately, for the optional cover letter. The CV is required before submission.

The application cannot be submitted

Confirm that the application contains a CV, First name, Last name, and Country of residence. If you supplied a LinkedIn value, enter one complete URL beginning with http:// or https://. If Talent portal reports Complete the required fields before submitting, return to the relevant step and supply or correct the item.

If it reports You've already applied to this job, open Applications to find the existing submission.

The job stopped accepting applications

When the public apply entry belongs to a job that is no longer published, Talent portal drops the job context: it shows the general Sign in to Talent portal page or, for an already signed-in applicant, returns to Home. Refreshing or directly opening an authenticated wizard step instead reports That job is no longer accepting applications. A saved draft can be continued only while the job remains Published and does not restore an unpublished job context. Contact the hiring organization if you need clarification.

An application is missing

Only submitted applications appear in Home and Applications. Sign in with the same email used to start or submit the application. An in-progress application remains attached to its job and can be continued from that job’s public page only while the job remains Published.

The receipt email did not arrive

Confirm that Talent portal reports Submitted your application and that the application appears under Applications. Those UI states are the authoritative submission result. Receipt email depends on the hiring organization’s enabled template and successful delivery, so check spam or filtered folders and do not submit again just because no email arrived. Contact the hiring organization if you need separate confirmation.

A status differs from the hiring team’s wording

Open the application detail for the applicant-facing summary: for example, New appears as Submitted and Screening appears as In review. Cards on Home and Applications translate New to Submitted, but otherwise retain the Hiring pipeline label. See Talent portal permissions and states for the full detail mapping.
