TroubleshootingEntities

Troubleshoot Entities

Resolve organization access, missing records, duplicate identity, locked fields, validation, connection, and export problems.

Confirm the organization and entity type before changing data. Most apparent omissions come from route scope, filters, or source ownership.

Entities asks for an organization

Choose the organization in Select an organization. With no selection, Entities shows No organization selected and Select an organization to start managing your entities.

If the organization is absent, verify membership and the signed-in account.

Search cannot find the entity

  1. Open All entities instead of a type-specific page.
  2. Clear Type, Status, and Country filters.
  3. Search a shorter part of the legal or display name.
  4. Check the organization slug.

Type pages deliberately exclude every other entity type.

Creation reports that the entity already exists

Select the existing search result. If Entities says the identity already exists as a different type, do not create a second record. Confirm the correct legal classification and ask an administrator or support contact to resolve the existing type.

A field is locked

Locked to source means the field belongs to a linked fund or management-company source record. Correct it there and return to Entities after synchronization. Repeated edits in Entities will not override source ownership.

An update cannot be saved

  • Fix highlighted required or format errors.
  • Use an entity code like AT-ABCD.
  • Confirm that dates, country, status, and verification values are valid.
  • For source-locked fields, use the source workflow.

The failure message is Could not save your changes. Fix the highlighted fields.

Approval fails

Confirm the record is Pending review and its required details are valid. A failed approval reports Could not approve the entity. Review its details. A successful approval changes the operational status to Active; it does not automatically make the verification status Verified.

Connected features or ownership are empty

No connected features means no supported Infra One records are currently linked. No shareholdings means no ownership rows are recorded. Check the source fund, account, bank, document, manager, or shareholding workflow before reporting a display failure.

Custom fields or Relationships is missing

Those settings routes require organization-administrator access. Ordinary organization members can use configured fields but cannot define them.

An export is incomplete

Check the current type route, search, filters, and all-versus-filtered selection. The export preserves type scope even when the type is not displayed as an editable filter.
