Entities overview
Understand the organization-scoped legal-entity register, supported entity types, connected features, ownership, and administration.
Entities is the organization-scoped register for legal entities and the Infra One records connected to them. It gives one place to find identity data, review operational connections, maintain ownership structure, and export records.
Entity types
Entities separates records into:
- Funds
- Feeder funds
- SPVs
- Management companies
- Carry vehicles
- General partners
- Other entities
The sidebar opens a type-specific list or All entities. Every list uses the same searchable entity browser, while its route fixes the type where applicable.
Source-backed and standalone records
Fund and management-company identities are linked to their source records. Fields such as legal name, display name, registration number, and country can show Locked to source and must be corrected in the source product.
Carry vehicles, general partners, and other entities can be created directly in Entities. Creation first searches for an existing company identity so that one legal identity is not duplicated under multiple entity types.
Entity detail
An entity page brings together three views:
| Tab | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Entity details | Identity, registration, jurisdiction, status, verification, and contact data. |
| Connected features | Investment accounts, managed vehicles, bank accounts, document sets, and managers. |
| Ownership structure | Shareholdings and their hierarchy. |
Organization administrators configure Custom fields and Relationships. Organization members can use the resulting entity data in the register.
Lifecycle and verification
An entity has an operational status—Active, Inactive, Dissolved, or Pending review—and a separate verification status—Unverified, Pending, or Verified. Approval changes Pending review specifically to Active; verification remains its own field.
