How-toApply

Start a program application

Open the current Allocator One program, choose the right organization, create the application, and save the first section.

This guide creates a Started application for the current Allocator One program and saves its first section.

Before you begin

You need:

  • an open application program at https://apply.infra.one;
  • a confirmed Infra One account;
  • a Member or Admin role in the organization that will submit the application, with manage_onboarding_application; a Guest role does not qualify;
  • the fund’s working name, status, domicile, and optional website URL.

Choose the organization carefully. The application belongs to that organization, and selecting Start application opens a route that creates the record immediately.

Start the application

  1. Open https://apply.infra.one.
  2. Confirm the heading names the program you intend to apply for. Review the application deadline and the Latest applicants will hear back by date.
  3. Select Apply for program name.
  4. Sign in or create and confirm your account when prompted.
  5. Select the intended organization if Apply asks you to choose one. If you do not yet have a Member or Admin role, join through an approved organization invitation or ask an organization administrator to correct your role before continuing.
  6. On the organization Apply home, select Start application.
  7. In Fund basics, enter the fund name or working title, fund status, and domicile. Add the fund website only when it is a valid public URL.
  8. Select Continue. Apply saves the section and opens Information about you.
  9. To stop here, select Save & exit. Apply returns to the organization home and shows Saved your answers.

Moving forward does not prove that a section is complete. Apply lets you move between sections with missing required answers and marks that work as incomplete. A malformed URL or another value that cannot be stored stops the move and shows Could not save your answers. Fix the highlighted fields.

Creating the Started record also makes it eligible for automatic reminders. Current organization memberships, including guests, can receive email 10 and 2 days before the deadline while the application remains Started; pending invitations are excluded.

Success check

Return to the organization Apply home. The application card shows Application status: Started and offers Continue application. Opening it returns to the saved wizard.

Troubleshooting

If Apply shows No open batch right now, a program is not currently accepting new applications. Do not reuse an old organization URL to try to bypass the closed public entry.

If the intended organization is missing, confirm that you accepted its invitation with the same account. An organization guest does not receive Apply management access.

If selecting the start action opens an existing application, that organization already has an application for the current program. Continue the existing record instead of creating another one.
