Understand how applicants and organization members start, complete, submit, and track Allocator One program applications.
Apply is the public and organization-facing application service for Allocator One programs. It combines three journeys:
- a public program page that shows the current application window, deadline, interview timing, and feedback date;
- an authenticated organization workspace for completing and tracking one program application;
- public entry points for eligible awards and application-deadline reminders.
The public program page is available at https://apply.infra.one. An open program is the batch whose application start has passed and whose deadline has not passed. When no batch is open, Apply shows No open batch right now instead of an application form.
How a program application moves
An applicant starts from the public page and signs in before choosing an organization. Organization members with Apply access can then work on the same organization application.
The application wizard has eight sections:

Opening the new-application workspace creates a Started application immediately. Continue, Back, and the step navigation save the current answers before moving. Save & exit saves and returns to the Apply home. On the review step, Submit application checks the whole application and sends the applicant to the first incomplete section when something is missing.
A successfully submitted application has status Submitted. The current application page offers both View application and Edit application while that status remains active. The review page explains that submitted answers can be updated until the program deadline. An application becomes read-only when the review team moves it to Interview, Accepted, or Not accepted.
Public and authenticated surfaces

Apply is not feature-flagged in the service switcher. Record access still matters: knowing an organization slug or application ID does not grant access. Guests do not receive the organization-member Apply capabilities.
Collaboration is organization-wide
Add collaborator sends an organization invitation. It is not an application-only share. After the recipient confirms their account and accepts the invitation, they join the organization. They can access Apply only with a Member or Admin role; a Guest role does not qualify.
Invite someone only when they should join the organization. The application card shows organization memberships as accepted Collaborators and lists Pending invitations, but that display is not an effective-access check. Accepted reflects invitation acceptance; an existing guest can appear there without Apply access.

These pages document the customer-facing applicant and organization-member experience. Internal application review, selection, and system-administration controls are intentionally excluded.
