Complete and submit an application
Save each Apply section, attach the supported files, review incomplete work, submit, and verify the resulting status.
This guide takes a Started program application through review and submission. At the end, the organization Apply home shows Submitted and retains a read-only record of the answers.
Before you begin
You need:
- access to the application’s organization;
- a Started application for the current program;
- the applicant, fund, strategy, commitment, and investment-thesis answers requested by the wizard;
- one PDF pitch deck no larger than 250 MB;
- any optional supporting files in PDF, Word, PowerPoint, or Excel format, each no larger than 250 MB.
You can select up to 20 optional supporting files at a time. Completed selections are appended to files already attached; the current application does not enforce a 20-file aggregate cap. Do not upload customer records, credentials, or documents the application reviewers are not meant to receive.
Complete the sections
- Open the organization Apply home and select Continue application.
- Complete Fund basics, Information about you, and More information about you.
- In Your pitch deck, upload one
.pdffile. Wait until the uploaded filename appears before moving on. - Complete Strategy & fund size. Enter fund-size values in millions and choose a supported fund currency.
- Complete Commitment & setup.
- Complete Our final questions. Upload optional
.pdf,.doc,.docx,.ppt,.pptx,.xls, or.xlsxfiles here. - Use Continue, Back, the named step list, or the progress controls to move. Each navigation action saves the current section before it moves.
- If another person should help, select Add collaborator, enter their Email, and select Invite. This sends an organization invitation, not an application-only share. The recipient gains access only after accepting the invitation.
- Open Review your application. Use each Edit control to correct an answer. If the warning These steps still need an answer before you can submit: appears, select each listed section and complete it.
- Read the deadline notice, then select Submit application.
If the full application is incomplete, Apply saves the current answers, shows Please complete the remaining steps before submitting., and opens the first incomplete section.
Success check
Apply returns to the organization home and shows Your application has been submitted. The application card shows Application status: Submitted and offers:
- View application for the read-only answer record;
- Edit application for changes before the deadline.
The read-only record shows the program, status, submission time, and answers grouped by the same section names used in the wizard.
Update or track the application
- Select Edit application while the status is Submitted.
- Change the required section and return to Review your application.
- Select Submit application again to save the updated submitted record.
- While a program batch is current, use Previous applications to open an older application record.
Submitting an edited Submitted record replaces its displayed submission time, appends another submission timeline entry, and emits the submission event again. It is not a quiet draft save.
Editing and selecting Save & exit does not demote the card from Submitted, even when a newly edited required answer is incomplete. Always return to Review your application and submit again; the card status alone does not prove the edited answers were revalidated.
When the status becomes Interview, Accepted, or Not accepted, Apply redirects editing attempts to the read-only record.
Troubleshooting
If a file remains in an uploading state, wait before selecting a form action. Form submission is locked while automatic uploads are in progress.
If a pitch deck is rejected, confirm it is a PDF and no larger than 250 MB. Optional files use the formats listed above, and the upload control accepts up to 20 files in one selection.
If Apply says Your file could not be attached. Please contact support., the transfer completed but the file could not be recorded. Do not repeatedly upload the same file; contact support with the organization, program, filename, and approximate time.
