How-toDealflow

Configure a Dealflow pipeline

Review the default stages, add or edit a stage, and verify the pipeline before the team moves deals.

This guide produces an ordered pipeline whose stage names and semantic kinds match the organization’s decision process.

Before you begin

You need:

  • an authenticated organization-admin account;
  • Dealflow enabled for the organization or your account;
  • an approved stage model with at least one active working stage and the required outcome stages;
  • a destination stage for every deal in any stage you plan to delete.

Changing a pipeline affects every member who uses that organization’s Dealflow workspace.

Review the current pipeline

  1. Open https://dealflow.infra.one/your-organization-slug/settings/pipeline.
  2. Under Pipeline settings, review the stages in displayed order.
  3. Confirm each stage’s Name, Color, Kind, and deal count.
  4. If this is a new organization, verify the default New, Screening, Diligence, Won, and Passed sequence.

Add or edit a stage

  1. Under Add stage, enter the Name.
  2. Choose a Color and Kind: Active, Won, Lost, or Passed.
  3. Select Add stage.
  4. To edit an existing row, change its Name, Color, or Kind. Changes are applied from the row controls.
  5. Use Move stage up or Move stage down to place it in the intended order.

Stage kind drives decision semantics. Do not label a working diligence stage as Won, Lost, or Passed merely to give it a different color.

Delete a stage safely

  1. Select Delete stage on the intended row.
  2. If the stage still contains deals, choose Move deals to.
  3. Confirm that the destination preserves the intended meaning of those deals.
  4. Select Delete stage in the dialog.

Success check

Refresh Pipeline settings and verify the final order, names, colors, kinds, and deal counts. Open Deals in Kanban and confirm that the columns follow the same stage order.

Troubleshooting

  • If Pipeline is missing, confirm that you are an organization admin and Dealflow is enabled.
  • If a stage name is rejected, enter a non-empty name no longer than 255 characters.
  • If deletion asks for Move deals to, choose another existing stage; populated stages cannot disappear without a destination.
  • If Kanban still shows an earlier order, reload Deals after the settings change.
