Confirm an application deadline reminder
Subscribe an email address to the current Allocator One program, confirm the private link, and understand reminder timing and recovery.
This journey confirms an email subscription for the current Allocator One program’s application deadline. It does not confirm, submit, or change an application.
Before you begin
You need:
- a current program whose application window is open;
- access to the email address that should receive reminders;
- permission to open the private confirmation link sent to that address.
Treat the confirmation URL as private. Anyone who has it can confirm that subscription. Never paste it into a screenshot, support ticket, shared message, or documentation.
Subscribe and confirm
- Open
https://apply.infra.one/public/reminder. - Confirm the heading says Application reminder for program name and names the intended program.
- Enter the Email address.
- Select Get notified.
- Wait for Please check your inbox for our confirmation email and follow the instructions.
- Open the email with subject Confirm your Allocator One deadline reminder.
- Open its private confirmation link once.
Success check
The confirmation page shows Thank you for your confirmation. You are now subscribed to our email reminders.
On the first successful confirmation, Apply also sends a second confirmation email. The reminder worker evaluates the current program daily and sends confirmed subscribers on the calendar dates one month, one week, and two days before the deadline. Signing up does not guarantee delivery through a recipient’s mail provider, so keep the deadline from the public Apply page in your own calendar as well.
This subscription controls only that one-month, one-week, and two-day reminder stream. Separately, a Started program application can email every current membership of its organization 10 and 2 days before the program deadline. An automatically nominated or saved-but-unsubmitted Started award entry can do the same 10 and 2 days before the award closes. Pending organization invitations are excluded, and submitted entries are skipped.
Signed-in reminder controls
A signed-in visitor who opens the public reminder form is redirected to the authenticated reminder page. That page uses the account email and does not require an email-confirmation link.
- Confirm Application reminder for program name names the intended program.
- Select Get notified.
- Verify the page says You are receiving notifications for program name.
To remove that signed-in subscription, select Turn off notifications.
Troubleshooting
If the form says the address is not a valid email, correct the address and submit again.
If no confirmation message arrives, check the entered address, spam, and mail filtering. Do not repeatedly select Get notified: each successful public submission can create another subscription, and the public page has no resend control.
If a malformed or unknown confirmation link opens the Apply home, it did not confirm the subscription. A valid older link still confirms its original program subscription after that program closes; it does not carry over to a later program. Do not share the link for diagnosis. Contact support with the program name, masked email address, and approximate signup time.
If no program is open, the public reminder route returns to the Apply home. The signed-in reminder page also has no supported no-program management state; return to Apply and contact support if an existing public subscription must be removed.
Public email subscriptions currently have no self-service unsubscribe control. Contact support rather than exposing the private link or repeatedly creating subscriptions.
Current email wording limitation
The same reminder template is currently used at all three milestones. It can call an earlier message the “final reminder” and can say the subscription is removed automatically. Do not rely on either statement: the scheduled cadence remains one month, one week, and two days before the deadline, and the current implementation does not automatically delete the subscription record.
