Contacts

Manage people, organizations, relationships, groups, tasks, and CRM-specific fields in an organization workspace.

Contacts is Infra One’s organization CRM for founders, LPs, partners, and the organizations around them. It keeps a single contact record connected to groups, tasks, relationships, affiliations, opportunities, notes, and interactions instead of duplicating that context across spreadsheets.

The Contacts model

Contacts uses two primary record types:

  • a Person has a name and required email address;
  • an Organization has a name and can have a domain.

Opening a record reveals its detail sidebar. A person can be affiliated with organizations and an organization can be affiliated with people. Affiliations record a role such as Employment, Founder, Board, Advisor, or Representative, plus optional title and dates.

Custom relationship types add other directional connections. An organization admin defines the forward name, inverse name, source type, target type, and cardinality; users can then add those relationships from a contact record.

Main work areas

  • Dashboard summarizes Total contacts, People, Organizations, and Groups, and shows recent contact activity where connected accounts provide it.
  • People and Organizations are separate views of the same CRM workspace, with Search contacts…, filters, and configurable columns.
  • Shared groups are organization-wide working lists. Private groups use owner-managed Read only or Read and write grants.
  • My tasks and All tasks track contact-specific follow-up.
  • Custom fields, Duplicates, and Relationship types are organization-admin settings.

Group pages can use a table or Kanban board. A Kanban board can group cards by a supported built-in field or by an eligible custom field whose Allow Kanban grouping setting is enabled.

Record lifecycle and safety

Archiving removes a contact from the active People or Organizations view without permanently deleting it. Archived people and Archived organizations support Unarchive contact. Permanent deletion and duplicate merging are separate, irreversible actions and require stronger confirmation.

Private contact details, notes, messages, interactions, and relationship history can be sensitive. Use publishable synthetic records for training and documentation; do not copy customer data into examples.

Start using Contacts

Follow Add a contact for the first person or organization. Continue with Run Contacts workflows to organize groups, tasks, affiliations, and custom fields. Read Contacts permissions and states before sharing a private group or merging records.
