Register for an event
Open an event, sign in, provide its required registration details, and verify the host’s decision state.
Register for an event and confirm whether your request is waiting, accepted, rejected, or cancelled.
Before you begin
You need the published event page or a direct link to a hidden event, plus an Infra One account. The organizer may ask for additional registration answers and may restrict the venue, agenda, attendee list, or Meet profiles to accepted attendees.
Registration requires host approval. Register submits a request; it does not guarantee attendance.
1. Review the event
- Open
https://events.infra.one/{organization-slug}/{event-slug}. - Check Date & time, Venue, and Event description.
- Review the note under Your registration. Approval required means the host decides the request after submission.
The exact venue can remain hidden until acceptance when the organizer chose that setting.
2. Submit the registration
- Select Register.
- If you are signed out, complete sign-in. Infra One returns to the event and creates the Pending registration as part of that return flow.
- If Please tell us about yourself appears:
- complete every required question;
- choose whether you plan to attend with a companion or guest and, when you choose Yes, enter Companion or guest name;
- read and accept the Privacy Notice;
- select Request to join.
- If that panel does not appear, Register creates the request directly and no second submission is required.
3. Verify the result
Check Your registration on the event page:
- Waiting for confirmation from the host. means the registration is Pending or Under evaluation.
- You're in! means the registration is Accepted.
- Thank you for your interest! means the registration is Rejected.
- A restored Register control means there is no active request. For a previously Cancelled registration, selecting it before the event ends returns the same registration to Pending.
For Pending, Under evaluation, and Accepted, the page also reports that an email was sent to the signed-in account. That rendered message is not proof of mailbox receipt: the saved registration state is authoritative, and background delivery can be delayed or fail.
The Rejected card shows only the rejection result, although the rejection action also attempts its status email. The host can start ticket delivery after acceptance when it is enabled for the event.
Success check
Immediately after a successful submission, the event page no longer shows Register and shows an active or decided registration state above. If you intentionally cancel later, Register returns and indicates the Cancelled state. Email is a follow-on notification, not the success boundary.
Troubleshooting
- If sign-in does not return to the event, reopen the original event link and check Your registration before selecting Register again.
- If the details panel remains open, complete every required visible question and the privacy checkbox, then select Request to join.
- Could not save some answers means at least one answer was not stored. Keep the page open and try again after checking the visible fields.
- If the event says This event is already over, new registration is closed.
- If you previously cancelled, select Register to return the registration to Pending. A rejected registration cannot be resubmitted without a host changing its state.
