Venture

Run funds and SPVs, maintain portfolios, and coordinate investor onboarding from one operational workspace.

Venture is the operating workspace for funds, SPVs, direct deals, and the investor activity around them. An organization can keep each vehicle’s profile, fundraising pipeline, portfolio, capital activity, and reporting context together without giving every user the same level of control.

What Venture organizes

The organization-level navigation separates Funds and SPVs. Opening a vehicle adds its own workspace:

  • Overview summarizes investable capital, commitments, portfolio activity, and performance when the required data is available.
  • Profile contains the vehicle’s investor-facing description and parameters.
  • Fundraising shows the Investor pipeline, invitation status, onboarding steps, and communication history.
  • Portfolio contains direct investments and, for funds, fund investments.
  • Cap table, Draft capital calls, Sent capital calls, Reports, and other tabs appear when they apply and the viewer has access.

An SPV uses a five-step setup flow tied to an underlying company. Funds and SPVs share much of the vehicle workspace, but an SPV can contain direct investments only.

A typical operating sequence

  1. An organization admin creates a fund, or starts an SPV and saves it as a draft.
  2. The team completes the vehicle parameters and subscription document template.
  3. An Infra One admin moves the complete vehicle to Active/Open.
  4. A vehicle admin adds portfolio investments and, where permitted, invites investors.
  5. The team follows each investor in Investor pipeline, then operates capital calls, reporting, and portfolio updates from the vehicle.

The activation gate is intentional. Venture displays the unmet conditions when an investment or invitation cannot be added.

Access boundaries

Organization admins can create funds and SPVs. Organization members can browse the organization’s vehicles but normally see vehicle operations in read-only form. A guest sees a vehicle only when assigned as a collaborator. A vehicle’s admin collaborator can receive separate permissions for invitations, capital calls, and banking.

Investor invitation and signing pages are separate from the GP operating workspace. Do not use a GP view to explain what an investor will see; follow the investor-facing journey for that procedure.
