How-toMeet

Set up your Meet profile

Complete the three persisted profile steps and verify that Meet opens its discovery directory.

This guide completes one Meet profile. At the end, Meet marks the profile complete, reports Completed the profile, and opens the discovery directory.

Before you begin

You need:

  • a confirmed, signed-in Infra One account with shared account onboarding complete, including first and last name; no organization membership or organization role is required;
  • a full name and company or organization name;
  • at least three interests across the available categories;
  • only information you are comfortable using in a networking profile.

A profile photo is optional. Meet accepts one JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, or GIF upload per step-2 submission, up to 25 MB (25,000,000 bytes).

If Infra One redirects to /app/users/onboarding, complete the shared account’s first and last name there, then return to Meet. That shared account page is separate from Meet’s three-step profile setup.

Complete the profile

  1. Open https://meet.infra.one/setup. Opening the Meet root with an incomplete profile also sends you to setup.
  2. Under I'm joining as a…, choose GP, LP, or Other.
  3. Select Continue. Meet saves the investor type immediately, then opens step 2.
  4. On step 2, enter Full name (required) and Company/Organization (required).
  5. Optionally add a Photo, Job title, Bio, Profession, Industry focus, Location, and LinkedIn URL.
  6. Keep the full name to 160 characters or fewer and the bio to 1,000 characters or fewer. A LinkedIn value must be a valid URL on linkedin.com. Full name updates the Meet public-profile name; it does not rename the signed-in account.
  7. Select Continue. Meet saves the profile details and the account’s shared avatar together in one transaction, then opens step 3.
  8. Under Select interests, choose from Asset Classes, Investment Focus, Strategies, and LP Type.
  9. Select at least three interests in total across those four categories. The interface recommends 3–8 selections; validation enforces the minimum of three, not a maximum of eight.
  10. Select Continue. Meet saves the interests, marks the profile complete, and returns to the Meet root.

Each Continue saves only the current step. Choosing an option or toggling an interest is not durable until you select Continue for that step.

Success check

Meet reports Completed the profile and opens the directory. Depending on the available profiles, you can see Top picks for you, Meet LPs, Meet GPs, or From your industry. The header includes Edit profile & interests.

Your own profile is not a discovery result. Other eligible users can discover it after completion; a block in either direction removes the pair from ordinary discovery.

Edit or resume setup

Select Edit profile & interests to reopen setup. Setup always opens at step 1 with saved values, even when you previously reached a later step.

  • Selecting Continue on step 1 or 2 updates that step immediately. Leaving afterward does not roll the saved step back.
  • Reloading setup starts again at step 1; continue through the steps to reach the field you want.
  • An incomplete profile remains incomplete until step 3 succeeds. Opening the Meet directory returns that account to setup.

Troubleshooting

  • If Continue is disabled on step 1, select GP, LP, or Other.
  • If step 2 remains open, supply both required fields and correct any name, bio, LinkedIn, or avatar validation error. Keep only one photo upload in that submission.
  • If step 3 says Please select at least 3 interests across the categories below., add selections until the total across all four categories is at least three.
  • If the directory reopens setup, the final interest step has not marked the profile complete. Review the saved steps and submit step 3 again.
  • Stale setup copy can mention scheduling. Meet currently completes profiles and supports discovery and contact handoff; it does not schedule or join meetings.
