Troubleshoot Explorer
Resolve missing funds, portfolio authorization, marketplace requests, stealth holdings, secondary eligibility, and bid problems.
Explorer resolves access from the signed-in identity, fund settings, investments, invitations, and offering participation. Start by confirming the account in use.
A fund is missing from Marketplace
Marketplace excludes Hidden funds and funds outside its eligible active-open or active-closed states. Ask the fund team whether the fund is intentionally Hidden or should be Visible or Open.
A visible fund will not open
Visible permits discovery but does not grant portfolio access. Select Request access. If sending fails with Could not send access request. You may already have a pending request., ask the fund team to review the existing pending request.
A fund is missing from My funds
Check whether at least one access path still applies:
- current organization membership;
- a non-cancelled investment through an account where you are Admin or Member;
- a user or email-matched fund invitation; or
- Open visibility.
Also confirm that the fund is not Draft and that the invitation email matches the signed-in account.
The portfolio says access is unauthorized
The exact message is You are not authorized to access this page. Sign out and use the account that holds the membership, investment, invitation, or approved request. A bad fund slug can instead report Fund not found.
A portfolio company is missing
Portfolio cards represent closed investments. Clear Fund layer, Country, Growth band, Themes, and Geographies filters. If the holding is stealth, confirm that your role or the fund’s LP stealth setting permits it. Ordinary invitation, investment, or Open access is not enough.
No investments are eligible for a new offering
The selection list includes only Dry closed and Active closed investments where you are an Admin or Member of the investment account. If the page shows No eligible investments found, check both the investment status and your account role.
An offering cannot be published
Confirm Asking price is greater than zero and that the estimated value and method are present. Invite-only publication does not require a recipient, and invitation errors do not roll back an already published offering. If an invite failed, preserve the offering and reconcile its intended recipients instead of publishing a duplicate.
Use the normal Select investment workflow instead of a saved direct URL. The direct terms route checks account membership but does not repeat the closed-investment eligibility check.
A user cannot see or bid on an offering
- A Public offering is broadly viewable only while Published or Under negotiation, unless the user is already a participant.
- An Invite-only offering requires seller, invitee, or bidder access.
- Bidding requires Published or Under negotiation and an investment account available to the buyer.
- The seller cannot bid on their own offering.
Bid acceptance did not complete the transfer
Preserve the offering ID, bid ID, account, amount, time, and displayed failure. Do not create a duplicate transfer or repeatedly accept the bid. Contact support so the transaction can be reconciled safely.
