How-toHiring

Create and publish a job

Create a direct job in Hiring, review its required details, and publish it to the public job board.

Create a direct job in Hiring, check the candidate-facing details, and publish it when it is ready for applicants.

Before you begin

You need organization-member or organization-admin access, and Hiring must be enabled for your user account. Any organization member can create a job. Editing, publishing, or closing an existing job requires that you created it, are assigned as Hiring manager or Job admin, or are an organization admin. A Reviewer or an otherwise unassigned organization member cannot make those changes.

Prepare the job title, short headline, introduction, role category, accepted location and employment types, and required experience. A job synchronized from a connected applicant tracking system must be managed in that system instead.

Create the draft

  1. Open https://hiring.infra.one.
  2. If prompted, choose the organization under Select an organization.
  3. Open Jobs.
  4. Select Create.
  5. Enter the required Job title, Headline, Intro, Role category, Location types, Employment types, and Required experience.
  6. Add any useful optional details: Tasks, Requirements, Benefits, Closing, Location, salary range and currency, equity, and Skills.
  7. Select Create job.

The headline accepts up to 250 characters. Tasks, Requirements, Benefits, and Closing each accept up to 10,000 characters, and you can add up to 20 skills. Salary and equity values cannot be negative, the minimum cannot exceed the maximum, and a salary range requires a currency.

After creation, Hiring makes an organization-member creator the job’s contact person, ensures they are in the Team pool, and assigns Job admin for that job. A newly added or re-added pool entry is Standard; an existing Limited label is not changed and does not restrict the job-admin assignment.

Review and publish

  1. Open the new job from Jobs. A job opens on Applications.
  2. Select Job details, review the candidate-facing information, and then select Edit if anything is incomplete or unclear.
  3. Save edits with Save changes.
  4. Return to Jobs and choose Publish for the draft.
  5. Confirm that Hiring reports Published the job.

Publishing makes the job available through its public organization board and the combined public jobs page.

Success check

The job is marked Published, appears on the public job board, and its public detail page shows Apply now or Apply, according to the organization’s job-page style.

Troubleshooting

  • You cannot open Hiring: confirm that Hiring is enabled for your user account and that you belong to the intended organization.
  • Create is unavailable: confirm that you are an organization member or admin. Publish, Close, and successful edits additionally require edit authority for that job.
  • The job says it is managed in the connected ATS: Edit may still open, but saving cannot update the synchronized job. Publish or close it in the connected applicant tracking system.
  • The job does not appear publicly: only Published jobs appear in listings. A Draft public detail is unavailable; a direct link to a Paused or Closed job remains readable but does not offer Apply.
